WITH A GREATFUL HEART,

Tomorrow morning I will not wake up at 7am to start peeling potatoes, I will not thaw out the rolls so they can rise, I will not find Jonathan's jello creation in the fridge, I will not watch "It's a wonderful life" while I stand in the kitchen as has been my tradition for the past 9 years. This is my first year without any of my immediate family around.
HOWEVER, I will be roasting a turkey for a meal tomorrow, I will stand in the kitchen with my wife to be, as she helps me out and makes my season bright, I will be sharing a meal with my "new" family, who are close already. Unending things to be thankful for...
