Defend your Gender!

I don't like having to defend my gender at times cuz of stereo types. We all know the general stereo types about men and women, they are as ancient as the blue prints for the pyramids. So when someone throws one out in conversation and you know it's not true of you, and you're not the only exception to the stereo type then you feel like speaking up for a legion of people who have been misrepresented, which in turn has you defending your gender. But we should just let it go cuz the stereo types won't change and some are true for both sides, and new ones are added everyday.
